We’re Looking for Motivated Young People with Grit and Determination

Know of someone you’d like to nominate for the program? Here’s why you should consider:

Our program is designed to help motivated young people who need the space to thrive with a sturdy foundation for success. We enhance the education of our scholars by providing individualized guidance and maintaining stability and structure in a nurturing environment. Each scholar participates in many enrichment opportunities to support academic and personal development. The Boys Hope Girls Hope experience is a long-term, voluntary, holistic scholarship program.

ADMISSIONS CRITERIA

Applicants for Boys Hope Girls Hope must be:

    •  Children/youth from low-income families who have difficulties to continue their studies.
    • Have the age corresponding to the grade to which they apply (from 3rd grade to high school graduate).
    • Children/youth who distinguish themselves for their good performance, good behavior, and values.
    • Have the academic potential to grow and develop within the program.
    • Have motivation, a positive attitude, and commitment to complete their university studies.
    • Belong to a family that is willing and committed to collaborate with the program to support the student’s general welfare.

Family is integral to every scholar’s success.

We work closely with families and involve them in decisions related to their children’s education, health, and well-being. Working together allows us to better support students in developing social and emotional skills, encouraging study habits and discipline, improving self-esteem and motivation, and promoting positive values and attitudes towards education.

The support we provide to students also has a positive impact on the lives and well-being of their families. We provide them with tools for the formation of their children and we assume the costs of education, food, and housing for the students so that the families have financial relief.
